O trabalho de investigação está vinculado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Goiás, Regional Jataí, tendo como objeto de estudo, o trabalho educativo no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde. No geral, objetivou-se identificar o trabalho educativo em saúde realizado no município de Jataí-GO analisando seu alinhamento com o que tem preconizado o Sistema Único de Saúde. A pesquisa é de cunho documental fundamentada no método epistemológico do Materialismo Histórico Dialético. Foram analisados documentos do Ministério da Saúde e arquivos institucionais da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Jataí-GO. Os resultados da pesquisa revelaram que o trabalho educativo em saúde no município em estudo, acontece de forma alinhada com o que tem preconizado o SUS no quesito de se trabalhar ações de educação em saúde, educação permanente e educação continuada. No entanto, se distanciando das recomendações do sistema, os dados demostraram que as estratégias educativas propostas durante essas ações permaneceram vinculadas à concepção tradicional de educação, com enfoque em palestras e na prevenção de doenças, vinculado ao paradigma biomédico de ciência. Assim, foram reveladas estratégias educativas anti-dialógicas, assistemáticas, descontínuas e fragmentadas, que somado à incipiência dos registros encontrados, refletiram a (des)atenção com o trabalho educativo em saúde local, e a perpetuação do trabalho educativo em saúde alienado na sociedade capitalista.

The research work is linked to the Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Goiás, Jataí Regional, having as its object of study the educational work within the Unified Health System. In general, the objective was to identify the educational work in health conducted in the city of Jataí-GO analyzing its alignment with what has been advocated the Unified Health System. The research is documentary based on the epistemological method of Dialectical Historical Materialism. We analyzed documents from the Ministry of Health and institutional files from the Municipal Health Secretariat of Jataí-GO. The results of the research revealed that the educational work in health in the municipality under study, happens in line with what has been advocated by SUS in the area of health education actions, permanent education and continuing education. However, departing from the system recommendations, the data showed that the educational strategies proposed during these actions remained linked to the traditional conception of education, focusing on lectures and disease prevention, linked to the biomedical paradigm of science. Thus, anti-dialogical, unsystematic, discontinuous and fragmented educational strategies were revealed, which, added to the incipience of the records found, reflected the (dis) attention to the educational work in local health, and the perpetuation of the educational work in health alienated in capitalist society.
