ABSTRACT:
As a form of Cerrado and forests are determined by a range of abiotic variables, it is important to carry out delimitation studies of the conditioning factors of these formations. Given the need for studies, mainly at local scales, the objective was to know and compare the floristic composition and the structure of seasonal measurements, and to understand which soil attributes determine the floristics and structure of these communities. In each area, there were 25 plots of 20×20m (400m2) permanently, grouped in a sample block of 100×100m, totaling one hectare, where all those that are arboreal, with DBH = 10 cm, were identified and averaged. The forests differed considerably in structure and composition, with 64 indicator species identified (p<0.0001). Regarding the differences in species diversity between forests, it was found that the rarefaction curves indicate higher average values ??for FES and FED (Itajá), 80 and 55 species, respectively. The analyzes of the main components of the edaphic variables explained 86% of the variation in the data, indicating that this factor plays a significant role in the composition and structure of these forests. Seasonal semideciduous forests (FES-ITJ and FES JTI) had a strong correlation with sand contents and, on the other hand, FED-ITJ was associated with Mg, Ca, pH and CTC contents; while FED-JND is associated with P. For the DAP variable, three attributes (pH, HAl and MO) showed a negative influence on the diameter of the trees (R²=0.57), a fact that also occurs with phosphorus (P), pH and HAl for the average height variable. CTC emerged as a predictor variable for all structural variables, with a positive correlation for three of them (basal area, DBH and mean height) and a negative correlation for one (density). The floristic similarities between the four seasonal forests generated distinct patterns. Floristic diversity is associated with several soil attributes analyzed. The hypothesis that the floristic and structural pattern is different in the Seasonal Forests of the Cerrado was confirmed in the present study.
